35 grams of weight loss at each valve; 35 X 8 = 280 grams Over 1/2 pound of weight savings in a
very important part of the enigine. Think about it....Heavier valve springs require horsepower to operate.
A 20 percent change in the mass will allow higher RPMs without valve float.
Save money with less wear and tear on that expensive camshaft. As a bonus,
the vavle adjustment shims are about 1 gram; so when you must install a larger one
you don't pay much of a weight penalty. A complete set of 8 titanium retainers,
eight of our modified cam followers and 16 shims (consultation and measurements
will be required here) will cost $420 for the do-it yourselfer.

For $620 we will convert your FIAT head. We will install titanium retainers, our
special cam followers and shims and return it with the valves adjusted. We will include 8 extra assorted valve shims.

These three piece wheels, below, are made in America. Each 13X8" wheel for a an X1/9 weighs a mere 8 pounds. That 28 pounds saved in unsprung weight will do a lot for performance.
